Fortunate Coffee, Malaysia 幸福咖啡館
Had been reading sharings & postings from vegetarian/vegan friends on Facebook, finally yesterday I got a chance to visit this Vegan coffee house located at Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur.
Like many others, first thing I ordered for myself is a cup of vegan cappuccino.. taste creamy & smooth, worth trying if you like coffee. Besides that I ordered Nasi Lemak for myself and my hubby ordered a Charcoal Burger set and a cup of drip coffee.
The next trip will definitely arrange it on Saturday as I really want to try its Tofu Cheese Salad & pumpkin soup. Below attached with its new Menu.
Pumpkin Soup only available on weekend.

Would you ever open your fridge, pull out twenty plates of pasta and chuck them into the bin, and then, eat only one plate of food? How about leveling fifty-five square feet of rainforest for one lunch or dumping two-thousand-five-hundred gallons of water down the drain? Of course you wouldn't. However, just eating half a kilo of meat will cause this. Eating meat will cause inefficient use and destruction to our resources and environment, cause immense animal suffering, and have detrimental effects on our health. So, if roasting a dog to complement your mashed potato disturbs you, then why roast any other gentle animal?
Are you aware that one-hundred-and-thirty million
animals are murdered annually in New Zealand? Most
animals are raised on factory farms, the system which
strives to maximize output at minimum costs. As a
result, the animals suffer immense pain mentally and
physically every second of their lives. They are crammed
into filthy windowless confinement systems and will
never raise their families, rummage in the soil or
do anything that is natural to them. They won't even
feel the sun on their backs or breathe fresh air until
the day they are loaded onto trucks, destined for
slaughter. Over ninety million animals in New Zealand
suffer these conditions and many remain conscious
as their throats are cut, then, left to bleed to death.
Another cruel practice farmers often carry out is
the deprivation of food from birds for fourteen days
in order to shock their bodies into laying more eggs
for human consumption. And, because male chicks are
useless in the meat industry, each year a hundred
million of them are ground up alive or tossed into
bags to suffocate. What's more, at the slaughter house,
the chickens throats are cut, and they are immersed
in scalding hot water to remove their feathers while
many are still alive.

Even
nowadays, to mark cows for identification, ranchers
push hot fire irons into their flesh as they bellow
in pain. Consequently, third degree burns occur and
male calves' testicles are ripped from their scrotums
all without pain relief. To add to their suffering,
the land which cattle graze on has air saturated with
chemicals and these fumes cause chronic respiratory
problems, therefore making breathing painful.
T.T tears drop after reading the above..?...Can you feel how much pain & sufferings gone through by farming animals? Do you know what is the actual costs for eating one piece of steak? Is it not only what the animals had to suffered, but the environmental damages caused by raising animals for food. Just click "google search" on "environmental impact on livestock", you can get all information you need to know.

As a token of love, I share with you good
news—maybe just to help pacify all worrying hearts, all hearts that are
concerned about the survival and wellness of all in this world.
That good news is our planet will still be blessed to exist for 10,000 years more to come and will continue, depending on our goodness in the future. And for that, praised be God. Thanks to all co-inhabitants’ loving prayers and contributions in different aspects. When we live our lives with a vegan
diet, we send out a powerful statement that we want life, and so we
will beget life, and protection to continue with our life.
If we become vegan as an individual,
we can remedy the disasters that otherwise might affect us personally.
If the world becomes vegan as a group, we can remedy the disasters
that affect us globally. They will be averted, or be minimized and
rendered harmless. The planet will begin repairing itself in astonishing
ways that would surprise scientists. For example, the ice will stop
melting and return to the way it was; green life will appear again,
and the oceans will be healed as the rainfall and temperature begin
to regulate themselves again to produce restored balance.
You see, we have the energy to
change everything; we have the power to dictate what happens around
us, but we must use it. We must use it for the sake of all. We must
use it for the benefit of every being on this planet.
Our thinking, our actions, have
to send out a message to the universal energy that we want a better
planet, we want a safer life, and we want a saved world; then the
universal energy will do just that. But we have to act in resonance
with this energy. If we want good things, then we have to do good.
If we want life, we have to spare
lives. So the good energy we create can do these things, and more
wonders. The compassionate loving atmosphere that we, as the whole
world, generate, can and will do more miracles for us. I know it sounds
incredible but it is possible. It is a fact. We can create everything
that we want if we live in accordance with the law of the universe.
Such is the power of just being vegan. Because that means we spare
life, we want life, and we want constructive energy; we don’t
want destruction. So vegan is the answer. This is something all citizens
of the world can do. Be vegan. Be a world-saver. The world can be
what we make it to be, and we will make it a vegan world, a compassionate
world, a peaceful world and a saved world.

A conversation with God
Me: God，can i ask you a question?
「上帝，我可以問你一個問題嗎？」
GOD: Sure
「當然可以」
Me: Promise me...you won't get mad
「答應我...你不要生氣」
GOD: I promise
「我保證」
Me: Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today?
「爲什麽你要我今天很多不好的事物都發生我身上？」
GOD: What do you mean?
「你這是什麽意思？」
Me: Well, i woke up late
「這樣的，我遲醒了」
GOD: Yes
「是的」
Me: My car took forever to start
「我的車總是不能開動」
GOD: Okay
「好的」
Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as i picked up a call
「在回家途中，正好我要撥打時，手機已經休克」
GOD: All right
「明白」
Me: And on top of it all off, when i got home ， i just want to soak my feet in new foot massager & relax. But it wouldn't work !!! Nothing went right today ! Why did you do that?
「結束所有手頭上的事,當我回到家，我正好要使用新的足部按摩器
GOD: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning ，i had to send one of my angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that

Me: OH

GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

GOD: Your phone went dead bcuz the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

GOD: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.
